Undergraduate Student

I’m Pieter van Thiel and I was born and raised in Eindhoven, where I also got my Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering & chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology. After obtaining my bachelors I started on his Masters also in Eindhoven. The two year program within the molecular systems & material science track, consists of 2 years. The first year is dedicated to obtaining more specific theoretical knowledge, while the second year focuses more on the practical side. My research within the M2N group is focused around developing a novel interlayer for polymer tandem solar cells. After completing my thesis here I will be looking for an industrial internship to complete my master’s degree. After these 2 years the big question will finally catch up with me whether I will go into the industry or stay in academia.
